Burn marks on marble can sometimes be scrubbed away with bathroom cleaner and a brush or a solution of bleach and water. So you can actually sand this out. The nice thing about cultured marble is it is all the same material all they way through. Bleach will also corrode etch marble.

Wet a piece of 1 000 to 2 000 grit wet dry sandpaper. The easiest way to remove a burn in a cultured marble vanity top is to use 400 grit wet dry sand paper on a sanding block in circular motions until the stain is gone.
